Professionalism - top
In order for this relationship to start off in the right direction, treat this relationship with the care and attention you would any important business contact. Recruiters are trained to hear the detail in between the lines and assess your professionalism in determining how best to assist you in the search for your next opportunity.
Upfront & Honest - top
Your best interests will be served by having an open and honest relationship with the Recruiter assisting you. No one is more interested in helping you achieve the right role than your Recruiter. This is why sharing all of your interests and preferences need to be discussed before the appropriate opportunity can be determined. Salary, relocation, family concerns, etc., are all vital to being successful in this process. In working with a PPR CAREER consultant, you have the luxury of sharing certain details that are vital, but often troublesome to potential hiring companies. We can overcome most of these issues without having to complicate the hiring process further.
Commitment - top
If you are merely looking to see what is out there and have no desire to make a change of employment now, but maybe in the future, let your Recruiter know that. We can place your information in our extensive database and bring your dream role to your attention when it comes up. On the other side, if you are serious about change, your level of commitment to the process will be rewarded. Clearly state what your goals are and stick to them. We will do the same.
Do Your Homework - top
Ask me?. That is one of the most important questions your Recruiter can mention. You are certain to have questions about the benefits plan, school districts, relocation package, or other details. Do not hesitate to ask the Recruiter for help. If we don't know when you ask, we will find the answer. You should also do your homework in examining the information publicly available concerning the company and area you are exploring. This will lead you to other questions. One of our goals is to help prepare you in every way possible to make the right decision for your career.
Prepare for The Interview - top
Your Recruiter will provide you with several important and helpful documents in preparing for the interview. Do not overlook the importance of these papers. Most candidates have interviewed too many times to recall, yet we could all pick up new and innovative methods for dealing with this process. Let your Recruiter do their job and share their own knowledge to help better your chances for success. As important, we need feedback from your interviews: Good, Bad, or Indifferent. Without debriefing, we cannot obtain the best package for you or address any additional questions from the hiring manager without your feedback.
Cooperation - top
We have all had a bad experience in our lives, but moving on is the key to our success. Your PPR CAREER Recruiter has been trained to excel at what they do and should provide you with the best possible experience regardless of what you may have been through with other agencies in the past. We will give you our best effort and expect the same in return.
Patience - top
Timing is critical to everything we do here at PPR CAREER. Timing is also a very frustrating aspect of the hiring process. We know and understand the extent of your frustration while waiting to make the next move, but patience is essential to finding the best role, securing the best package, and bringing together the new partners for their handshake. We want you to be successful and we commit to doing our best in working as quickly as possible on your behalf. Please allow us the time to have the job right, you won't be sorry.
