PPR Career, Inc. is in search of a Reports Developer for an exciting permanent position with a growing company in Augusta, GA.
Summary of Responsibilities: The Report Developer will work with internal and external customers to plan, analyze, design, construct, test, release, and maintain complex reports and run analyses to enhance and support business related decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements from customers (both internal and external)
• Manage customer’s expectations
• Develop stored procedures and queries
• Create, maintain, and support complex reports (cross tabs, pivot tables, drill downs, etc.) and sub-reports with multipart formulas and customized functions
• Test and evaluate information and reconcile any differences from expected results
• Provide the Director of Software Development with project status updates
• Participate in departmental and weekly department meetings
• All other duties assigned by Director of Software Development
Required Skills:
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and writing)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Good time management and organizational skills; ability to complete multiple reports for multiple projects on time and in scope
Required Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in developing and supporting Crystal Reports XI
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL Server (2008 R2 preferred)
• Intermediate understanding of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Basic understanding of Source Control (preferred)
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (strongly preferred)
