PPR Career, Inc. is in search of a talented and experienced PHP / .net Programmer for a contract to permanent opportunity located in South Carolina.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to assisting in the design, development and maintenance of Internet PHP/.Net applications. These systems access data from client’s ERP system, and legacy applications. Knowledge of all general business applications, a base ERP system, and Web applications are required. Knowledge of Visual Basic, C, C#, .Net, PHP (programming languages), and Microsoft Sequel database processing/design are required. The PHP/.Net programmer should have 3 years prior application experience or college training in a web application process.
The PHP/.Net programmer should be familiar with Internet applications. Experience with ASP, HTML, Internet Explorer and other web development tools are a plus with this position.
Scope of job:
Support all PHP/.Net applications that include but not limited to (client’s web site, Actuator wizard, Time and Attendance plant application, Human Resources application). Design changes to existing PHP/.Net applications, maintain and enhance existing legacy applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Be able to interpret design specs and make the associated changes
● Handle daily help desk issues that are reported by each operating unit within organization.
● Assist the IT department in communication interface to the networks internally and externally.
● Excellent testing procedures are required for any new or change process in any application.
● Working knowledge of Microsoft Sequel and database which all PHP/.Net applications work
● Knowledge of Routers, Switches, Internet connectivity a plus
● Working know of Microsoft IIS server required
● Meet deadlines for applications that are being developed
● Assist the Manager and others in the department when necessary
● Provide programming support for various PHP/.Net based applications
● Play a direct role in maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of company-used technologies and code
Requirements:
• PHP,.Net, C, C#, Visual Basic, Sequel, IIS, MySQL, HTML
• General accounting knowledge
• Microsoft Word
• Microsoft Excel
• Visio
Education / Experience:
● High School Diploma or GED and some college preferred or
● Minimum 3 years related experience or Bachelor’s degree
