PPR Career, Inc. is in search of a Lead Network Analyst to join an amazing group of technical professionals that utilize some of the most cutting edge technology in the industry! Ideally located in Columbia, SC you will find yourself in close proximity to the rolling mountains, the abundant beaches of South Carolina as well as a short drive to both Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA.
Position Description:
• Designs, implements and maintains network systems and Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) systems.
• Responsibility includes the setup and administration of systems to include but not limited to, Firewall’s, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems, LAN/WAN routers and switches and associated monitoring tools.
Requirements:
• Cisco Certified Network Associate- CCNA (or higher) or similar industry certification.
• Five years’ experience as a Senior Network Analyst or three years in a similar but lesser position required.
Preferred Experience:
• Support and configuration experience with the following- Cisco Nexus devices, F5 Load Balancing equipment, Riverbed devices, Netflow tools, WhatsUP Gold/Oneview, Solar Winds network tools.
• Disaster Recovery Sites or Alternate Data Center locations.
• Experienced in the use of Network Security devices, to include PIX Firewall, Intrusion detection, filtering, and vulnerability scanning systems.
• Extensive technical knowledge of WAN, LAN technologies, to include protocols, router hardware and software.
• Extensive knowledge of communications methods and procedures used in WAN communication systems.
• Preferred VoIP knowledge and experience of supporting ShoreTel VoIP systems.
• Ability to use detailed knowledge of electronics and telecommunications to diagnose and correct communication problems.
• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Visio and Microsoft Project software or a similar project management tool.
