EDI Specialist Job Code: ND649 Charlotte 10.02.09 Job Description: PRIMARY FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for, but not limited to assisting in multiple functions of EDI/E-commerce, including the following: processing EDI orders, develop, test, implement and maintenance of E-commerce application system. Assisting in training functions of EDI with customer service and reps. OTHER FUNCTIONS This position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and can vary on a daily basis. JOB SCOPE Supports all areas within E-commerce Dept, Sales, Distribution, Accounting, and Customer Service. JOB DUTIES · Handle phone calls from Customers, Rep's and Customer Service pertaining to E-commerce · Review and resolve requests from E-commerce Trading Partners promptly and professionally · Evaluate and correct Acknowledgements, Invoices, and Advance Shipping Notices received from Apollo online, consign stock orders and manually keyed with EDI errors · Assist Customer Service and Consumer Division where E-commerce is pertaining · Assist and review inbound and outbound E-commerce Purchase Orders, Acknowledgements, Invoices, and Advance Shipping Notices · Transmit and/or re-transmit information when necessary · Knowledgeable of EXTOL software and the value added network · Assist in setting up new EDI Trading partners · Assist in development, testing and maintenance of E-commerce application system · Review and resolve EDI/E-commerce emails if applicable - Conbraco EDI, ApolloEDI, & Conbraco CPD · Cross train within the E-commerce department · Assist the Manager and others in the department when necessary SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY Job is not supervisory by nature.
